Well bunny i know to remove the item completly but its not like i can close(it still stance there but it says CLOSED) it or chance anything if something chances in sometime and then 2e of all this is in a customer point of view I think most pp won't take time to read everything (or anything)^^ then in something else costumer friendly what about makeing a permanent log in option^^>?

Yes Nick, I confirmed with the developers that the system has set itself to send people emails every six hours for listings that are ending within 1 day. It's doing what it has been programmed to do. The best I can do is turn it off altogether, but I can't set it to anything less than 1 day.

Well there isn't a real problem i just say hole lot of pp won't read the explanations that you made but just stry and figger it out them self and 2e thing i said is that when i log in and i shut down my IE and then re-start IE it remembers my name and that i am logged in but when i re-boost my comp it doesn't wouldn't it be better to give pp the choice to stay logged in permenatly?

It's not even possible for me to do that Bas, I'd have to write a cookie or Java script and most people block them.

the image verification on login is a simple security measure. bots and w/e else are generally not smart enough to read what letters are in that image. its a simple way of making sure that the user trying to log in,is human and not something undesireable

but whats with the insane big amounts of gp........ i simpely geuss there is a limit to ones cash i know this sounds stupid but pp that wanna iritate can just put up an insane bid like 100000k (YES THIS IS POSSILBE) and there is no item wurth that amount of money nor a player(i simpely geuss) and it would make it impossible for other players to even make a new bid

human logs in-->activates bot--> hopefully we tested it enough that it won't make a mess

The "insane amount of gp" on the site are simply test data. We're testing what the site does when we push it to it's limit. It's a normal part of the testing process. The last thing I need is to launch a site that blows up when someone enters a 1 billion gold bid for a laugh I need to see what the SQL database can handle, simple as that.

As for the remembering log-in thingie. I'm not going to do that. I actually want people to verify and re-verify themselves each time they log in. It's a safety precaution and it is a good security measure

Bunny maybe consider making a little explanation box pop up thingie next to the "ecto exchange rate". Cuz now you can fill in there anything and I already saw someone wrote there 14 ecto. If I'm right then you should put there the amount of gold that you want to exchange the ecto for, not how many ecto's in total you want for the listed item. I think there will be more confusion over that. It would also help to restrict that box to only numbers, but I'm not sure if that's possible.

You know, it's funny because the ecto exchange rate box was originally set to only accept numbers. I changed it to be free-form because someone complained and said that most people write things like "500g below current trader price" and things like that. Because I have been told people want a free-form field, I cannot restrict it to numbers, as it was previously.

What we have here is a user preference issue. The instructions page that explains "How to place a bid" does discuss the use of this field but....

Update: To make this clearer, I have added a drop down box. Users are only able to select from the drop down box, not enter their own values. I hope this is clearer

Well yes, it's like any auction site. You either browse the categrories manually, or you use the search function to find what you are looking for.

I assume you realise that the auction site is currently only a test environment. There are no real auctions on the site at the moment, only test data.

Good solution imo

Another suggestion is to make this little image (I don't know the name in English) in front of the name on the tab and in favorites. Like this site has a yellow cup with the green plus. Like the bunny you use or something like that. Cuz it will make it far easier for people to find the site in their favorites.
